Can DS use ME to leave a few days earlier?

Our DS will be flying down with us and we will be renting a car, but he will be leaving a fews days before us to come home. We are doing a package with room/tickets/dining plan. I know that we all need to have the same thing in the package, so I'm assuming DS won't be able to leave earlier than us and take ME to the airport. Is this true? We would'nt be checking him out. If not we will just drive him ourselves. Thanks, Linda

As long as your ok with paying the extra money for the package; there shouldn't be a problem with him traveling at a separate time. We have kids come and go at different times on most of our trips now. Yet, we have never had a package but as long as you've paid for him and his name is on the reservation he is entitled to the DME.

No problem with DS' up-and-leaving early. Although the same length of stay has to be ordered for everyone, no problem if people arrive late and/or leave early after you get there and receive the room keys/tickets.

DS has to be on the room reservation and therefore on the meal plan (if any) to stay in the room. He would therefore be eligible for Magical Express which you might as well have him use.

Clarify DS' earlier departure when you set up the return DME reservations at the airport DME welcoming area or at your resort. Make sure that he gets a written sheet by the morning of the day before the day he leaves, confirming his DME bus back to the airport.

OT - speaking of the meal plan, if the package includes it, he can use up his credits before he leaves. (You probably already knew that; just a reminder)

I was thinking maybe we could use his meal credits since they put all of them together on the reservation not divided by person? Linda

You can use them. No big deal

We used a friends when he had to leave early. Of course that probably contributed to the Never Again decision on meal plan
