Can/do AAA agents adjust ressies with a pin code?

Wondering if I can go through an AAA agent if/when I get a 40% code. Or do I have to go straight through Disney? Right now I want to just book the room and then move it to a package, etc. when we get closer to December and I can find a discount apllicable to me.

If you book through AAA, they own the res and only they can make any changes. (Same as with any TA.) Even if you have paid off the res through AAA/TA this is still the case.
By booking through AAA/TA you will need to contact them with any changes, and then they contact Disney.

I guess I just need to do my reservation myself since I'm such a control freak and I'd go nutso if I couldn't get my pin code applied.

If you plan on booking room only for now and converting to a package later, you can do that with Disney. While package reservations have to be booked by a AAA agent, Disney can book a AAA room only reservation for you.

Just be aware that in doing that, when it comes time to convert to a package, you won't be able to just convert. You'll have to make a new package booking, pay the $200 deposit, cancel the room only reservation, and receive a refund. Disney can't switch between room only and package.
