Can DL be just as magical as WDW?

The parks are just as magical. I just didn't like being able to see the outside world while in the parks in some places. Also, in Disneyland everything seems to be about 3/4 scale of Magic Kingdom.

We’re Disney World vets and just went to Disneyland for the first time last summer. We loved it. But there are some differences as others have pointed out. DL more of a 3-4 days max kinda place where wdw is week+ vacation.

It’s just a totally different experience (not better or worse imo). If you love wdw and have never been to DL you should definitely go. I suggest staying at one of the “good neighbor” hotels across the street.
