Can Disney pins go in carry-on luggage?

They had to take them out of our carry on to look. This was in PHL.

Yes. I put all the pins in a ziploc bag. Never had a problem.

I don't plan to trade. I have a pretty display banner with them that I like to hang in the stateroom.

On our recent Wonder cruise someone had a "leave a pin, take a pin" cork board set up by their fish extender. I've never seen that before...

I have a huge collection of Disney brooches (many Swarovski ones) that I always bring. I would never put them in checked luggage. I have had to take them out to show TSA a few times but I want them with me when flying or boarding!!! Here are some of them.....some were bought at the parks, at the Disney Stores and onboard.
