Can dining plan be added at any time?

If I purchase a package without dining can I add it right before we arrive or even after (I will not have dining money saved until right before trip takes place)? Just wondering what the rules on that were.

I believe the cutoff is 72 hours before check-in. It is not possible to add the Dining Plan at check-in (the last time I checked, at least). Of course, if you are within 45 days of your arrival date, the $ for the Dining Plan will be due immediately.

That would be great. I really want to try the dining plan but with my package balance being due 12/12 I didn't think I would be able to swing it.

You can add dining days before your trip as long as you're paying rack rate for your room. There is a different allocation of AAA and code rooms that are available for dining. Wait to long and you'll probably lose a possible room discount.

I just called and booked my package using the new code for January and the cm that I talked to said I could add dining up to 5 days before my arrival and I would not lose the current discount that I have. Good news for me!!

I just re-read your OP. For the benefit of others reading this thread the reason you can add dining without losing your discount is you already have a package booked. The answer would be different if you were going from a room only discount to package. The allocation of rooms is different and in some cases you might be booking the package after the expiration date of the ofer.
