firstlly I love my deserts and have started a thread to find out at which TS restuarants I can get a good gluten free pud!
But if there are none in some TS resturants (or if they are only choc ones ughh) can I change it for something else- extra drink/side or starter. If not can I take one to go that my dd could have the next day instead of a snack and use there sanck credit for an extra drink.

I don't want to ask and be frowned at if its a rule breaker

I was always able to find a gluten free dessert or get a fruit plate. I actually often took a fruit plate to go and had it for breakfast the next morning. So, you can definitely take something for your daughter to have as a snack.

Not sure about getting a side instead - given that they don't allow that for others and that they do provide gluten free desserts, I suspect that it may not be possible.

DS is on a gluten and casein free diet and all the TS restaurants that we went to offered him fruit of some sort if there was nothing else that fit his diet.

If it's a restaurant that offers milkshakes then you can get that as the dessert option. If there is a cheese or fruit plate then they may let you get a cheese plate and will definitely let you get a fruit plate. They will not let you get an appetizer. They will likely let you get a fancy coffee drink or even a regular one as long as it's a non-alcoholic one. Really any drink that would be allowed on the dining plan will likely be allowed as a substitute for the dessert option. If you want a dessert to go for somebody who isn't gluten free then they'll definitely allow that. Just keep in mind that if it's a dessert that requires refridgeration that if you're not heading back to your resort to put in a fridge (assuming you have a fridge) then it'll spoil.

My kids have long lists of food allergies. One of my kids is gluten free. The one who's gluten free sometimes only has the option of ice cream or sorbet or fresh fruit because she can't eat the gluten free baked goods or creme brulees due to other allergies but even she has these options and isn't allowed to get something else using a dining plan.

We were on the Deluxe Plan, but everywhere but one restaurant (sorry, cannot remember which one - I think it was Jiko), allowed people in my party to get the cheese platter as dessert (in addition to the appetizer than comes with the Deluxe plan, so the cheese plate was counted as dessert).
