Can concierge help with this?

We are staying at the Poly, and even though I booked months ago, I've not been able to get an Ohana dinner reservation that isn't like 3:30pm or 9-10pm. We do have one for 3:45pm, but usually we are swimming or relaxing at that time. Does anyone know if the concierge might be help us get a better time since we will also be staying at the Poly?

We don't have club level room, so just speaking of the resort concierge...what all can they do?

They can make ADRs for you. However, if there are none available they don't have any extra pull to get a time that you can't get yourself.

You can also have the Ohana food delivered to your room if you are at the Poly. No reservation needed for that one.

I would just keep checking. I'm always amazed how many Ohana reservations pop up in the days leading up to when I'm searching, especially the day before. People cancel all the time, especially when they are there.

They are limited to availability. Staying at Poly doesn't change that.

Its our favorite restaurant, so we'd really like to dine there.

Keep checking. I find that the absolute best time to check for restaurant availability is the night prior to the date and time you're looking for. Because of the $10/pp no show/less than 24-hour cancellation fee, families will drop an ADR or move it to a different time that suits them better.

Try Touring plans reservation finder. It's free. They don't make the reservation for you, bit they do let you know when a reservation opens up in the time you want by text or email. Then you make the reservation. I've had a lot of luck with it.

Try the touring plans reservation finder. Concierge sees the same availability you see when they pull up restaurant availability

As a prior poster said, Touring Plans reservation finder is free (get a Basic Access account for free) and very effective.

From what I understand, in order for concierge to get you a time that's not available to the public, they need to put in a call for a request to a "higher up" CM for a dining override code which can add any reservation to any place at any time.
But they need a good reason to put that call in, and won't even try under normal circumstances.
I agree with the others. Use Touring Plans. It works! That, and a ton of spots usually open up days before.

Yep I agree. I've seen availability pop up the night before. Also see if the concierge can try as well. Good luck!
