The fact that I'm asking probably means I'm not swank enough to go, but can a 3yr old and a 5 yr old split a meal at the California Grill? Not on the dining plan, just regular, paying cash.

I can't see any reason why not if their appetites require it. They are very accomodating there and will work with you on anything. personally in my household- my 3 yr old would never get her own plate she gets a little pot luck from the table as she eats like a bird.

I would assume so, can't force kids let alone adults more then they can eat, no wait, I can eat and eat till I burst. :rotfl:

Not a problem at all. If you can get the three year old and the five year old to agree on one meal. That would be your only problem.

You are probably plenty swank, but our California Grill meal did take two plus hours - it isn't a choice I personally would make with kids younger than about six. (There will be other kids there, I just find it an expensive and lengthy meal for my children at that age - we went last year with an eight and nine year old).

We ate last year at Yachtsman Steakhouse and our girls shared a meal. They were 4 1/2 and almost 3 at the time. They both have small appetites, and we usually have them share a meal anytime we go out to eat.
