I have a question. Please don't anyone blast me for this. Since DH and I hope to do a solo trip later next year, we will need to purchase new PH's for ourselves during our Jan trip (second adult only trip would be in July for anniversary). That leaves me with left over days on the adult PH's we had from our last trip. So my question is.... can DD 3 use our leftover days from our adult passes. Since she was under three our last trip, we did not have to buy her a pass. Will they let her in under an adult pass?

They probably don't care, but why waste the Adult ticket money on a child's ticket. You can take your leftover days and have them apply it to a child's ticket. Guest Services at any park will do this for you.

Can you explain to me how this works? I have never heard of this before.

If you take your adult PH to guest services, they will probably take the value of that pass and apply it to the purchase of a child's pass. However, the passes are supposed to be non-transferable, so I'm not sure that they'd do that. I know they will do the switch on a child's pass because a child could move from age 9 to age 10 between trips.

However, if you think you'll ever use that adult PH, hold onto it. Just get a child's pass for your child. It would be more cost effective.

I would wait until Golden Oldie replies. I know you can take the value of some tickets and apply it to others. Not sure about taking an adult and using for a childs.

This is one of those blurry lines that Disney draws in the sand as the tide comes in.

You should be able to apply the value towards a ticket for your child despite the policy of used tickets being non-transferrable. Disney will not generally stop you from using one of your own tickets towards a new one for your child. You will however be subject to the usual rule of applying only one old ticket towards each new one you are buying. In other words, if you only buy one new child's ticket you will only be able to apply one of your old PHP's towards it.

If the GR CM you go to says it can't be done as they sometimes do, ask for a supervisor.

This can only be done at a Guest Relations location at the major parks or at either DTD GR location.
