We booked a stateroom that technically only sleeps 3 for myself, husband, and 2 year old and another room for my parents and our baby. The baby will be in a pack n play so we don't need 4 real sleeping spaces in our room. Can baby sleep in our room in a pack n play even if he is listed on my parents' room? We did this so we could get a specific stateroom but the downside is it technically sleeps 3.

I also read we will need to make sure to sign a form that makes it ok for us to take baby off the ship instead of my parents that he is assigned to. Anything else we need to do to avoid issues?

Be aware that if your parents' stateroom is in a different Muster station, the baby will have to go to that station with them both for checking in at the Muster drill and in the unlikely event of an emergency where you are directed to report to your Muster stations.

It's also possible they may not deliver a pack and play to your room because it doesn't accomodate a fourth so you might have to grab one from the other room or bring your own.

I don’t think so. You’d be exceeding the occupancy limits of your specified stateroom.

are you in a connecting room with the other relatives?

It really is going to depend. When I went with my family we had my room then my parents were in the connecting. Officially one of my kids was listed in their room but he slept between us in the bed. My kids were back and forth between rooms the whole trip. If my kids wanted to sleep with mamaw and papaw we just asked the room attendant to make the bunks on their side that night. It wasn't a big deal at all.

If you're talking different areas of the ship entirely that may be a very different situation.

I was going to bring my own anyways but we have a 2 year old who could fit in the pack n play if we wanted her to so I’m sure we could get one.

Thanks! Should be in the same spot most likely because our rooms are right next to each other

Hopefully, but not necessarily. The break line for stations has to be somewhere.
