Can anyone tell me the odds of finding DVC points for rent to stay in a 1 bed villa at poly the week of the fourth of July? I am so unfamiliar with how it all works. Also Id really appreciate anyone's experience with renting DVC points and how it all works.

Poly has no 1BR villas.

If you mean a studio, if you get a request to an agency now, good.

Read the terms and conditions closely. No cancels, no changes, housekeeping is not daily, and the bed setup is different than a hotelunit.

Odds are not good right now. Right now, only partial nights are available for your stay for that week at the Polynesian. Probably should have booked that last August.

Just Google "Rent DVC points" or go to the DVC Boards and check out the sticky threads at the top of the Rent/Trade Board.

If you are interested in renting 1 bedroom accommodations there is full availability in just about every resort that does offer 1 bedrooms with the exception of beach club.

Odds are zero. There are no 1BR villas at Poly. However, if you're considering a studio, then the odds are extremely slim because there is limited availability at Poly that week, with the night of the 4th being unavailable and likely already waitlisted by a number of owners. In fact, none of the MK-area DVC resorts has studios available for the night of the 4th.
