Hi to all! I completely forgot how the housekeeping goes;can someone please refresh my memory? Thanks,Angel

Not exactly sure what it is you are looking for. Standard housekeeping for DVC is trash and towel service on day 4 of your stay (check-in day is day1) if you are staying a week or less. If you are staying more than a week, you will get a full cleaning on day 4 and trash and towel on day 8 followed by another full cleaning on day 12. If you choose to have additional trash and towel service (as in daily), that is available for I think $10 a day. You can also arrange for full cleaning and maid service daily should you want that (although I have no idea why anyone does this in a DVC unit), at a cost of $25 per day for a studio, $30 a day for a 1 bedroom, and $40 a day for a 2 bedroom. I believe GVs are $50 a day for full service. Most of us treat our DVC units like our home, so we prefer not having to worry about when housekeeping is coming in. With the washer and dryer, there isn't much need to insist on clean towels daily either unless you are too lazy to throw them in teh washer and dryer yourself.

Does anyone know if the same rules apply to non-dvc resorts on property? I'm talking about places like the yacht club, polynesian resort, contempo, all-star resorts, grand floridian, etc. I know, I know. It's not nearly as point efficient to stay at these places, but I was just curious on the housekeeping policies there when you are using DVC points, since they are set up like regular hotels such. I also live in Southern California and may end up using my points at the resorts here. :)

When you stay at one of the non-DVC resorts on points (including the GF, Poly, etc.), you get daily housekeeping - same as if you booked a cash stay through CRO/WDWTC.

Best wishes -
