It seems to have everything that I am looking for. I was wondering if it's worth looking into further.
Thanks;)

i have not been, but am probably booking for an 8 night stay for mid june in the next two days. they get good reviews at tripadvisor and serveral other booking sites have them rated pretty good as well.

i am a little nervious -my first trip offsite at WDW (other than at a relative's house) but i am just going to do as much homework as possible on the place, book it and hope for the best. unless it is a complete nightmare (which i don't expect, but i always prep myslef for) i am going to take it all in stride.

I have never stayed or even been inside. However, I always thought it looked really nice for the outside...when I was a CP, I would drive by there at times, especially at night and think this is a really nice looking hotel.

i have eaten at the ponderosa across the st. a few times and it looks so nice... i saw mousesavers has a good rate of $139 but it goes down as time gets closer...

I have not personally stayed there, but 2 of my employees have stayed there during a conference. It's a big place with nice rooms (suite type I believe they said) The only negative thing that was said about the stay there was one of them thought the room was kind of dark. I would imaine that if a National Veterinary conference uses this as one of their hotels it had to be at least decent, if not great. The other hotels they use for the conference are the Marriott Orlando World and the Gaylord (for comparison)

I will be there for a week the first week in May and will try to remember to post a review. (It's for a work training session) Generally our company picks decent hotels to stay in so I am not worried. (The session in August I didn't go to is at the JWMarriott for example)

We've eaten at the Venetian Room inside Caribe Orlando and had a very good meal.
