Can anyone tell me about these?

I think this is my first post on the collectors board

A co-worker of mine bought these at a garage sale this weekend. I know they are stamps and it's obvious that they are from around the world, but can anyone tell me anything else about these?

Yes. They're working now, but I can't give you any information other than to tell you that many foreign countries have used Disney characters on their stamps over the years in hopes of luring collectors to buy them. Sierra Leone, in particular, is recognized for the large number of stamps they issue for collectors in other countries. I actually think they fund part of their government from stamp sales.

If you want to the value to other collectors, go to the library and get the most recent Scott's Catalog of stamps (warning not sure how many volumes it runs now but stamps are listed by country in alphabetical order then issue date of stamp)

Check out http://www.disney-stamps.com for other disney stamps. Ans you can look to see if you can find the ones she has to get a feel for what they might be worth
