Hi guys,

I'm sorry to have to ask because I know there are people who need it more than me, but if anyone has a little bit of spare pixie dust could I have some. I don't post that often, but I love coming here (daily!!) cheers me up, am just struggling at the moment.

Was told at 10.00 this morning that we are all losing our jobs, the whole team of 20, going January. I was angry at first but am now sad, and worried about not having a job, money etc.

I'm due to fly out on the 27th November and its really put a big spoiler on my holiday cause I'm going to be worried while I'm away. I've been working so hard for 2 years to be able to go back to the world. Just didn't want anything spoiling this.

In need of some help remembering the magic. Might have to find the video clip of wishes.... :wizard:

Plenty of pixie dust for you :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:
I sincerely hope this sad event will take a turn in your life and that you can find a job doing something that will make you happier. Please don't worry too much when you're in the world, try and budget a bit but these things DO have a habit of sorting themselves out.
Take stock of the things you really want to do maybe try and re train?
I wish you a happy holiday and come back here any time you want moral support :grouphug:

Hi,

Someone else was worried about losing a job on here a few weeks back. I suggested that you put the whole thing behind you and enjoy the holiday. Ok its a kick in the teeth I guess but life is too short.

Go and have a fantastic holiday and face the job issue when you get back.

I have an aunt who is in hospital at the moment received breast cancer treatment, while she was in on Monday her husband collapsed at home and died.

Now, I ask you, Is life worth worrying about? It is too short, enjoy it.

Steve

:wizard: :wizard: Sorry to hear your bad news, I hope you are able to find a new job quickley :wizard: :wizard:

Good advice Steve,

I know it's come at a bad time - just before your holiday and Christmas but be positive and think in a few months you'll have a better job and you'll be planning your next trip!

Take care,
Joanne

Thanks guys. Have made me feel much better and kind of silly! Making a mountain out of a molehill!

Your absolutley right Stevechase. I shouldn't worry about this life is too short.
So sorry to hear about your aunt & uncle.

I've got a couple of weeks til my holiday I shall just throw myself into my holiday planning and worry about this later.

Knew you guys would kick me back into line! I am one of the lucky ones, I'm going to DisneyWorld ! ::MickeyMo

:rotfl: Thanks Steve

Have you ever thought about becoming a professional, with advice like
Now, Pack your bags, sod off and have a great time.
I think you could make a career out of that!

I think you could make a career out of that!
as long as its not on the end of the Samaritans phone line :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hi Carol

that reminds me of a movie called the Choirboys, u ever seen it. A cop on a roof talking to a woman about to jump tries reverse phsyoclogytysihds! and says "What the hell, who cares go ahead and jump"

But she does!

Funny film, this brief resume does not do it justice

Steve

If its anything like that other film we were talking about I'm not sure I'd want to :rotfl:

I'm here too!

I've just been reading the other thread about the other film you've been talking about!! :rotfl:

ha ha Kell, did you want a copy?

The one Carol and I are making, you mean?

Im sure we will need some supporting cast.

It was Carol's idea, she seems fixated with filming me

:rolleyes1

Steve
