Can anyone recommend an air purifier?

I want to get an air purifier for our living room/dining room. We have 2 dogs and because of our location, we can keep the windows open much so we sometimes the house gets musty . I don't know the first thing about them and I'm hoping to get some recommendations.

The ones from Sharper Image look good, but I have no experience with them. I would like to get two.
