We have three families (14 people - 7 adults and 7 children) going on a January 2005 Magic western cruise. We want to start the trip in style and have a limo take us from the MCO Hyatt to Port Canaveral, and perhaps for our return trip to. While we could do 2 limos, we would really love to have one vehicle for all of us. I contacted A1 Luxury Limousines because they have some super stretch SUV limos, and they had a very good rate. Has anyone ever used this company. If so, I would appreciate hearing your feedback. Also, can anyone recommend another reliable limo company that has these types of vehicles.

Luggage should not be a big problem because we will only have about 5 or 6 carryons. Also, we definitely need seat belts. It is my understanding that limo buses do not have seatbelts, but the long SUV type limos do.

Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just make sure you check out the thread Not So HAPPY LIMO!!!!

I do believe if you are looking for style you should check out Happy Limo- they have a Hummer that fitts like 20 people. Good Luck and have fun.:earseek: You should read the thread re: Happy Limo as the previous response suggested.

Whatever you do, don't use Happy Limo! Check out the recent thread titled - "Not So Happy Limo" Quite interesting.

I'll be using Tiffany Towncar for my 11/27 trip. A few of my friends have use their svcs & can't say enough good things about them.

Their # is 888-838-2161; www.tiffanytowncar.com

We used Happy limo this saturday from PC to airport, on time , pleasant driver , no problems.

We are in the same situation as you. We have 13 in our group and half the fun is that everyone is together. I called a bunch of places and we are booked with Atlantis Limo for our cruise in 2 weeks. They offer a 15 passenger van with a seperate luggage trailer so we won't be squished. I have never used them, but I got the number from these boards, so I know others have been happy with them. Their number is 407-592-RIDE. Hope this helps.

We were a group of 6 adults and 3 LITTLE kids and took HL's Hummerzine.

There is NO WAY you would all fit in the Hummerzine, not to mention your luggage. No matter what they say! Trust me on this one... The trunk is VERY small and quite a bit of our luggage had to ride with us. We only had 5 suitcases and 3 carryon's and it still didn't fit in the trunk and front with the driver. The only seatbelts were on the back bench seat. No other seatbelts on the side bench seat...

I wouldn't risk it... Nor would I risk going with H.L. We had a heck of a time with them and their customer service was NOT good!

we've used happy for years without problems but last time was in june so maybe something has changed since then. excusion limo similar in comfort to stretch but i don't think it would hold your crowd. we were "upgraded" to hummer limo once and hated it. "bench - type" seating on both sides with bar/glass display behind. hard to describe but a bench to sit on and a padded rail to lean back on with bar area behind your lower back. I would go for 2 stretch limos. i agree about luggage issue. there never seems to be enough room and the last thing you want is luggage under your feet. insist on a separate luggage car.

Thanks everyone for your responses. So far, I'm leaning toward A1 Luxury Limousine/Star Cruiser and their 14 passenger stretch SUV limo. The price is far cheaper than two limos and it really would be great to travel together. My main concern is using a company that I have never used before. Therefore, I may panick at the last minute and go with 2 limos from FL Tours. We used them in the past and they were very good.

I am also wondering whether we can buy Disney transfers at the airport on the day of the cruise in case our limo does not show up. Since we're planning on having the limo pick us up at the airport Hyatt at 9:30, I figured that if it does not show, we'll just go into the airport and buy transfers and take the first bus available. Sort of a backup plan!

Does anyone know whether you can do this?

Thanks for any feedback.

What do they say they are going to do with all your luggage? I really can't see how luggage for 14 will fit in a trunk -- no matter what size!

They would have to have a van follow you or something. Just visualize 14 to 20 suitcases and then figure out what they will do with it.

We will only have about 6 carryons, so we should not have a major problem fitting them. They said that these can easily fit in the trunk and/or in an area near the driver. We'll be transporting our big bags through the Hyatt/Disney. I'll let everyone know what we decide and how it turns out.
