Can anyone recommend a beach in north FL / south AL?

We are trying to find a condo rental for 8 - 10 people in the Gulf Shores, Pensacola area. Doesn't have to be one of these, just the general area. I have never done this before, always stayed in hotels. Can anyone recommend a good beach or even a good rental? We want to go around July 21st for a week.

We always stay in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach area of AL. Here is a list of rental companies I have used in the past that you can check their websites:

Some of these have specials. Gulfshorerentals have restrictions as far as arrival day and # of days you are renting.

Meyrre.com & Kaiser both have beach homes and condos.

We LOVE Eden Condominiums on Perdido Key. (It is very close to Orange Beach, AL.) If you google it under Eden Condominiums and Perdido Key, FL or Orange Beach, AL, it will come up.

A more quiet place is Navarre Beach, which is nearer to Destin or Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Last time we stayed there, we stayed at a place called The Pearl which was really spectacular. The pool wasn't back up yet, though. (Hurricane damage.)

Inlaws have a condo in Gulf Shores and use Sugar Sands (http://www.sugsands.com) to rent it out. 5th floor directly on the beach. The complex is called Royal Palms.

Another complex we just visited relatives a few weeks ago is called Pheonix on the Bay and is in Orange Beach. It is only 2 yrs old. The pool area is awesome!!! It has a water sprial slide the kids love and it sits in the middle of the complex and is surrounded by a lazy river. It is on the Bay side but they do have a dock/marina with a beach if sand is your thing. The 3 bedroom/3 bath is a huge condo with huge bedrooms.

How bout Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Destin, Panama City, or Fort Walton??? They are all great.. For the Party life Panama City is probably the best of the 5 but for just enjoying the beach, and having a blast, and the amazing sunsets and sunrises, they are all great!!!! Go, have fun!!! I love them all! I'm all for, no more of thisand lots of this you can't go wrong with any of them!!
