Can anyone on our reservation check in?

Our family booked a bounce back and I'm wondering if since I booked the bounce back, do I need to be the one to check in my family or can my sister (also on the reservation but not the lead person) do it for us?

Also lately if you put a CC on file you can check in before arrival and you might get a text and/or with your room information with out having to physically check in.

I'm going with my sister but her flight gets in first

I'm paying for three rooms, but of course they are under different lead guests. Can I check everyone in? It's all on my VISA card. All charges come to me. And we are all connected in the reservation.

You can only check in for the room you are registered in.

Does this go for when you rent points, too? Our reservation is under DH's name but now he may have to fly down with older DS a couple days after younger DS and I. Hoping it won't be an issue for me to check in since I'm on the reservation but thinking it might be.......

Since separate rooms are separate reservation numbers, if you're not on the reservation (regardless of who paid for it) you can't check in for that reservation/room.

Doing online checkin does NOT guarantee that you won't have to go to the front desk. I've never gotten a room ready text, for example.

Oh sure, makes sense. But I assume it won't matter WHO goes to the front desk to get the room number. I've only gotten a room ready text once - at OKW - and we had just sat down at the pool with a drink lol.
