Can anyone help me with last years bounce back offer?

I was in disney 9/17 2008. While there I booked bounce back for 8/31/09. I booked at SSR because they were offering a 30% discount in addition to the free dining.

Well as it turns out 8/31 does not work for freshman soccer...so I called to see if I could move it back to the first date the package started, and I was told it was 8/23. Needless to say this does not work and for some reason I thought it started mid-august???

Did anyone book the bounceback last year for this year and get it prior to the 23rd? I was wondering if maybe the 30% off in addition was a different code then just the free dining? My code was DJX...i beleive is what she said...

The bounceback offered late last summer does indeed begin Aug. 23rd. There is/was a pin code mailed to the very lucky for free dining that does begin Aug 16th. I'm kind of in the same boat as you are. I am booked for arrival on Aug. 23, however we just found out that my rising 6th graders need to be at school on Aug. 26 for middle school orientation where they will receive their schedules and can do a run though of classes (and find out what friends they are with). I called to see if I had a FD pincode attached to our names and we did not. So I can not get free dining prior to the 23rd. However they may end up losing our business altogether because I have to decide which is more important, being in Disney or having my kids comfortable for the start of a new school. I am leaning toward school being important right now. But that could change. I am hoping if free dining comes available to the general public it will start earlier than Aug 23 and I can just move our dates up.
