I have Maya Grill as an ADR now, but after hearing how long it will take to get our food, I made scrap it for something else. Any suggestions? I have a picky DH and 3 year old dd.

Right now I have adr's for

Princess Storybook (Lunch)
Crystal Palace (Breakfast)
Concourse Steakhouse (Dinner)
Kona (Dinner)
Whispering Canyon (Lunch)
1900 Park Faire (dinner)

It needs to be something I have a chance at getting an ADR at since we are leaving in three days! The spot I have open will likely be either a late dinner after Whispering Canyon for lunch or another breakfast the morning before we do the BBB and have dinner at 1900 Park Faire.

Not knowing what park you'll be in makes a suggestion a bit difficult:confused3 you may want to try some counter service as an option....get on allearsnet.com and look over the menu for whatever park you'll be in. we've found some real gems at each one:cool1:

I would try to get in to Ohana if you can. This may be hard though. Where are you staying?

It looks like you have made most of your choices around the Magic Kingdom Resort Area, so I would suggest the Grand Floridian Cafe. It is one our "not to be missed", lovely Victorian atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service and it is becoming more popular, but usually not as busy as the "signature".

Also, for a delicious basic sandwich and ice cream, they usually have a wonderful potato salad also, The Plaza, at Magic Kingdom is another little hidden gem.

I'm not one for recommending places I've not eaten at, but if you would plan it in a trip to Downtown Disney, you can walk, (not far if you don't mind walking), or from the pier, take a boat across to Saratoga Springs and eat at the Turf Club. Then you would just go back to Downtown Disney and take the bus back to your resort. It's fairly new, has had good reviews, and we are trying it on our next trip.

All three of these are pretty basic for a "picky eater" and at I know the first two for sure have very good food.
