Can anyone help?....Child's CROCS question

Hi!

I ordered CROCS for my entire family from extremefootwear.com (or something like that). The pair I ordered for my son were too big, so I ordered a size smaller and just sold the bigger pair on e-bay.

I just got an e-mail from the lady I sold them to, and she said I sold her a pair of knock-offs because the CROC logo isn't on both sides of the shoe. I am on vacation right now, but have checked the three pairs we have with us. The adult pair and the toddler pair do have the logo on both sides. The child size does not. It has the logo on the outer side and just a black circle on the inside, connecting the strap. They all say CROC on the strap and the bottom.

Does anyone else have a pair of authentic CROCS in a child size that do not have the CROC logo on both sides of the shoe?

I'm hurt that I'm being accused of selling something that isn't real, and am now worried she's going to leave me negative feedback to ruin my 100% positive score. I know I probably won't be able to convince her these are real, but I was just curious if anyone else saw a difference.

1. Why don't you contact extremefootwear.com (or whatever it was) and ask them if all of the childrens crocs are marked like the others? You could always forward their answer to your buyer.

2. If in doubt, have you checked the buyers own feedback? Have you looked at their past auctions to see if they've bought a knock off and are trying to pass them off as if you sold them to the buyer?

3. Don't ever fear ruining your 100% feedback score--there is always gonna be an untruthful, spiteful person in the world that just lives to ruin other peoples lives. It does hurt to have someone neg you--especially when they aren't telling the truth, but it will not ruin your Ebay career. People will still buy from you.

My daughter has three pairs of crocs in kids sizes. On two of the pairs, the croc logo is only on one of the black circles. The third pair has it on both sides (this is the newest pair I have bought her.) They all have the word croc stamped on the back strap.

I got a toddler size for Ds and DD wears a 11/12 childrens. They have the crocs stamp on both sides. We got them last month from No fear gear. I would just call extreme footwear and ask.

I remember my first pair of crocs, they werent stamped, but a logo that fell off!!

I recognize authentic crocs by their holes, and by crocs being on the back strap! The airwalks from payless are diamond shaped holes... not sure about target and walmart, but those are plastic, not the soft resin material..

Do as the others say, very wise advice, and if you do get a negative, you get to respond by stating the above!! Their authentic purchased and confirmed by extreme footwear!

My crocs (adult size) only had the logo on one side of each strap (the outside) and they have both fallen off. My backstrap does not say Crocs but it is on the bottom of the shoe if that helps at all.

I noticed the same thing when I bought my 2 kids their Crocs in Feb. I asked the guy at the Crocs Cart in the mall and he said it just depends on where they were manufactured. Some were made here in Boulder, others were made in China and others in Canada.

Crocs have gone through MANY different revisions in the past year or so since they really started to become popular.

I have a pair (the kind w/ no holes) that don't say Crocs ANYWHERE on them.

I have a pair that DID saw Crocs on the black rivets, but they were STICKERS and came off.

All of the NEWER Crocs have the logo various places and the little rivets seem to all be engraved now.

But if your kid's Crocs were from a year or so ago, it's VERY possible that it wouldn't have the markings.

I just bought my kids some yesterday. The size 8/9 has the logo on both sides but the size 10/11 only has it on one side.

Thank you all for your posts about the croc logo and the encouragement about the ebay situation. I know these are authentic, but it's nice to hear that there is a reason why this pair doesn't have both logos. I sent her a response, trying to explain why this pair may be different than others, but haven't heard back. I'll just give her a refund and try again...and just hope she accepts the refund happily and doesn't leave a negative.
