I think my family would love this, but would love to hear first hand experience. Has anyone taken this tour?

Thanks!

Amy, 36 days till we are at DL!

Me again.... Here's the description from Disney. I think this sounds like so much fun! Opinions anyone??

I haven't been yet, but we're planning to go on it in Feb., largely because we loved the Family Magic Tour in WDW. I think you can't go wrong. BTW, I know there are reviews on other Disney boards. I'd check them out.

We just did this on Saturday. Me, DH, and DS6 were in a group of 21. My DS6 really enjoyed it. It took a little over 3 hours, with lunch. You do goofy things as you walk thru Disneyland. The kids met (and had group pictures taken with) Goofy, Pluto, Sleeping Beauty, Mad Hatter, Alice, Woody, Jesse, and finally Mickey. We rode the Carousel, climbed Tarzan's Treehouse, went to Tom Sawyer Island as pirates, and road the train to Toontown to Mickey's house where we had our own private meeting with him. The kids received a special pin at the end from Mickey and got some "treasure." The meal was a sit-down all together at the Rancho Del Loco (not sure if this name's correct), where the adults had chicken or steak tacos, and the kids had bean burritos or chicken nuggets and chips/cheese sauce. The group is given priority access to the rides and characters (meaning you get in front of the line). All-in-all, it was a little bit of Disney magic :wizard: in an otherwise very crowded day for us. I would suggest doing it.

Thanks everyone!! We'll be makng our reservations for this tour later this week! Thank you so much for the review links!

The one thing I was a bit disappointed about was the size of the group when Kimberly did the tour. I thought it was limited to 10 people. Oh well, it still sounds like fun!
