Can anyone estimate when April AP rates might come out?

Any guesses or estimates would be appreciated. I am not sure when they were released in the past. Thanks so much!

I think mousesavers says last year the AP rates for APril/May were released on Feb. 22., so looks like we have at least another month to way if history repeats itself.

With the exception of the weird programs implemented last year, AP rates are usually announced around 6 weeks prior to the start of the relevant period. However, it probably also depends on room bookings for the period. I think if rooms are selling well, they will delay the AP rates a little in order to squeeze out what they can. So I guess start checking back here starting in early to mid-Feb. . .

It is our understanding that the AP rates are given to help boost attendance when crowds are low, based on bookings. So while historically they come out at the same time every year, there is no guarantee that there will be a code.

That is correct. All one has to do is check on June and July last year and see that there were none to near none released and they were for the EPCOT delux and DVC resorts only. None at the value resorts, moderate resorts or MK resorts for June and July 2006. No need to offer a discount to areas that are all booked up. There were some sad faces last year because of that.

I was glad to see this question asked since I was curious about this myself. I appreciate the info given here.

My AP pass doesn't expire until March and I won't re-up it unless there are codes for April 2007 when we'll be there. I went ahead and booked a room with the AAA rate and was told I can switch to the AP rate *if* one comes out that is applicable. Fingers Crossed! I saved a boat load of money last year by using the AP pass rate.
