Can anyone clarify on a GAD upgrade question, please?

So I am already a AP holder. I am contemplating bringing my goddaughter to DLR in May. My question is.. if I get the voucher for volunteering, can I upgrade my voucher to a child's parkhopper? I realize I can upgrade to an adult ph, but would they let me use it for a child's ticket instead? I've read the fine print and it says upgrading to a multiday pass is fine, but no mention of it needing to be strictly adult/child that I noticed. TIA!

The voucher has to be used by the person named on the voucher, so it will not be possible for her to use it.
