Can anybody help remove the shadows?

I didn't notice the shadows when I took the photograph and I would really like to make this photo nice for Mickey's Mom. ;) Could anyone offer any guidance? I do have PSE if that matters.

Here's another one but I desaturated him a bit.

Thanks!! :)

It appears as though the Op used a cloning tool to clone out the shadow for you. You should have that in Photoshop Elements.

Thank you. That shows you how little I know about Photoshop. LOL :)

Just STARTING to learn myself. It is very useful in changing a photo if you want something removed. You may have seen the earlier photos of the crane being removed from the MK Castle photo. This was how it was done. It is very easy in some situations and difficult in others depending on the surrounding background. Definately worth playing with in your software and learning the basics :thumbsup2 Saves some great shots :cool1: EXAMPLE below of removing date and person.

I'm 100% new to photoshop, and you guys are amazing! :)

I don't even have photoshop YET. I am eyeballing the new CS2 software. I am about ready to build me a new computer for my photos only and thinking about installing this on the new computer. You can do the cloning thing with most photo software however. I have had it for a while and just recently starting playing with it. It is really easy and fun in most circumstances, unless you have a really important photo with a complex background. PM me and I will try to explain the steps if interested? :thumbsup2

AHHH!! Your a genius! Thank you.

Now, tell me, what did you do? :goodvibes
I used the clone as the other person said, but I have paint shop pro x, I like it, but I really don't edit too much.

Nice job!
I was thinking maybe remove the pole and rope and leave the guy.

Hmmmm maybe not.

THey look more happy without him. like they are frolicking instead of doing tricks for treats.

This was just a quickie job to show you what you requested. I didn't spend a whole lot of time on it. You can see the blurriness below the bottom porpoise's fin in the water and I didn't remove the shadow caused by the flagpole and a couple more flaws I see. Like I said I was just doing a quickie to show what you requested. It's fun to play with, especially since I am just learning to use the software. Photography is fun and I have been bitten by the bug :cool1: I will be glad when I get more photos that don't need alterations. Then I have learned something. I can only hope to take some photos one day comparable to some you see posted on here. They have the touch, but I am trying to learn :thumbsup2

Thanks! You guys are really great at this. I worked on it a bit but it looked really bad. Practice makes Perfect (I hope). :wave2:
