Can any pass be upgraded to an AP?

Does it matter where I buy it...Costco, Ticketmania, etc.? Then would I pay the difference between what I paid and the AP price? Thanks!

The only passes (other than complimentary tickets) that can't be upgraded to an annual pass are the park passes that include other parks than the Universal ones. For example, the 3 park pass that includes Wet 'n Wild or the Flex tickets.

Yes, you will then just pay the difference between what you paid for your ticket and what you would pay for an AP.

I've already got our 14 day UK length of stay. Any idea how much it would cost to upgrade just one to an AP. And so long as we have at least one AP I presume the whole party can take advantage of AP discounts (like hotel)?

Or does everyone in the party have to have an AP?

The annual pass is $279.99. I don't know how much you paid for your ticket. Just subtract it from $279.99 and add tax.

You just need one preferred AP per family to take advantage of the discounts.

Why don't you just save the tickets for a future trip?
