Can an FP be transferred from one ticket to another?

Here's the deal. We're heading to WDW next month. I haven't gotten our new passes yet but our window to book FPs starts on Friday. We have passes with 2 days remaining on them but don't plan to use those passes during this trip. If I book FPs on Friday with the old passes, is there a way to transfer them to the new passes once I get them?

Fast passes are connected to your MDE account. Having valid park admission Lets you make the reservations but the two aren't linked. The place people get in trouble is they book FP+ and then remove their admission from the MDE account that then expires the FP+ (assuming everything is working right). As long as you always have admission to cover the FP+ you make you should be okay.

Great! That's good to know. Even though I'm a WDW veteran, I feel like a newbie for this trip with all of the changes since we were there last year.

So the FP is linked to the account, not the actual ticket. It doesn't matter which pass we use to enter the park that day, the FP will still be valid. Perfect.

Thanks for the info.

Okay. I've gotten my new tickets which are the ones we plan to use on this trip. Is it fine to go ahead and add them to MDE in addition to the ones already linked? Can you have more than one ticket per person stored there?

1- Is it fine to go ahead and add them to MDE in addition to the ones already linked?

2- Can you have more than one ticket per person stored there?

1- Yes.

2- Yes.

But, when you get to WDW, go to any Guest Relations and have the CM "prioritize" your tickets
so that you will be USING only the ticket(s) that you want to use first.
You can do that as many times per trip as you need to.

BTW, it is usually an overly-costly plan to actually USE more than one regular park ticket per any single trip.

Yes, but if you want to use one ticket before another you'd need to stop by guest servcies and have the tickets "prioritized"

Is there no way to prioritize your tickets other than by going to GR, e.g. using MDE?

ok, does this sound right then, I currently have a 4 day military ticket attched to my magic band, with 4 days of FP+ made, now if I go into a park on my first day down under my daughters CM ticket I will still be able to use said FP+, then because I didn't actually use a day of my tickets, I should be able to then after that first day book another set of FP+ for later in the week, does this sound doable?

Not a problem. We won't be using magic bands. We stay offsite and will be using physical ticket cards so no need to prioritize them. We'll use the tickets we actually present at the entrance.
