Can an American book trip on Disney's UK site?

On the United States DLRP site there is no 20% off booking offer like there is on the UK site. I worked out the numbers and it is about $700 US cheaper for my trip (4 nights/5 days at Sequoia Lodge) if I book thru the UK site. Does anyone know if I can book my trip on the UK site instead of the US site? Thanks!

DLP has country specific promotions so it may be difficult to complete your booking without a UK address. I guess you'll only find out when you go through the system
Be aware that booking on-line with DLP rather than phoning means that the entire holiday costs is taken immediately from your credit card rather than a deposit.

Hi there, I was not able to do so online because of not having a UK creditcard BUT I rang the reservation number and the reservation agent said I could have the UK deal if i provided a UK postal address (they didn't need to send anything there as it all came via email, just needed it for the system) so I gave a friends address. this was great because the australian discount was only ten percent but the UK deal was buy 2 nights/3 days, get 3 nights/4 days for the same price - a huge saving at the disneyland hotel. where i am right now!

I don't think you can. I tried to do this when we booked, I tried to book from the UK site and the US site as they were both much cheaper than booking from Australia! Unfortunately we just had to book at the more expensive rate. It's very annyoying I know, knowing that you could pay so much less if you only lived in a different country.

Yes that is annoying and I made the same experience last year. There are no 20% offers or "get one day+night for free" offers for Germany as there are planty for the UK. And when I booked a trip for 2008 the CM on the phone told me that you can only get the UK disscounts if you live there and if you can provide them with a UK adress.
And for 2009 there are again no 20% offers or "get one day+night for free" offers for Germany which makes me very angry again.

It's not annoying it's frustrating.
For years in a row I'm trying to book a CC room for Christmas through the UK site.
This site opens these bookings weeks before the rest of Europe can book.

I always got no for an answer.

I'll guess it will by a daily calling and nail biting again for me coming August.

We tried this a few months back since the UK site had 2009 dates, but US didn't. It did require a UK address, so we waited. We're booked for the last week of May with no deals or discounts whatsoever!

This is exactly what we did. DH called up the reservations line today and the CM basically told him that he could do that so he 'borrowed' an address from a co-worker in the UK and we were able to book the discount.
We wouldn't have probably thought of it, so it was really nice that the CM told him about it.

Hmmm. We've already made our reservation through the DLP website and am now unsure if we can cancel it. The terms & conditions document is surprisingly vague.

My study abroad students use two addresses in London. Would I be able to use those? Wouldn't I need to provide proof upon check-in?

I've never been asked for ID when checking into a DLRP hotel.
