Can all Disney property hotel guests use any park entrance?

I couldn't find a Disneyland Hotel super thread to ask this in...

If we stay at the Disneyland Hotel, can we use both the Grand California & Pixar Place entrances to DCA? I've seen a lot of people talk about using the GC one, but can't seem to find clear info about using the PP one.

I can report that on our recent visit we were able to use our Disneyland Hotel key for the Pixar Place GCH entrance. I was worried about this too, so we tested it out on our arrival night (and got some pizza at Craftsman Grill, highly recommended) and it worked!

By the way, that entrance is amazing! We barely had a wait every time we entered, most of the time we just walked right up to bag check.

You should be able to use both entrances although the Pixar Place Hotel gate has a sign stating that the gate is for PPH guests only. If your room key card doesn’t open that dedicated gate you can simply open the nearby GCH gate (adjacent to the PPH gate), walk up to the GCH breezeway, hang a right and exit the VGC door on the South side of the hotel (near the Villas BBQ grills) and you will be able to catch the walkway to PPH gate. See attached map 1) PPH gate and path in red, GCH gate and bypass in blue. No room key is necessary to leave DCA via the PPH gate.

I can't answer about early entry but it did seem to be open all day. We stayed VGC in April and it was SO easy to pop back to the room.

Yes it is open for EE. We were just there using it for that last week.
