If I'm not on the DDP, will TS or CS restaurants at Disney let me order off of the children's menu? I'm really not a big eater and the children's meals (from the pictures on the food thread) look like they would be more than enough. I don't know if it makes any difference, but I'm 17, so not a "full grown adult" yet.:goodvibes Has anyone here been able to order off the children's menu?

Thanks!

I did this several times on our last trip. Sometimes they gave it to me for the kids price, sometimes they charged extra for the drink, etc.

I've done this before at several places without any problems.

I've had a grilled cheese kiddie meal at many counter service. They don't know who you are taking the tray to.

Never tried in TS - but that's not saying it can't be done.

I think it just depends on the restaurant or the server. I would call the individual restaurant ahead and ask them before you go. I know I'm a "plain food" kind of person and most food at Disney is pretty "complex" - I would just assume eat a grilled cheese over a whole bunch of foods mixed together - most of which I wouldn't even eat alone. ;)

My DD-not a big eater, even as a teenager-almost always ordered off the children's menu without a problem.

I'm a senior 60+ and the Plaza Restaurant in the MK would not let me order the Jr. Chef Salad off the kids menu. I was disappointed since I am a light eater. It was a waste for me to order the adult portion.

Thanks everyone, I'll go ahead and give it a try then! This board is so helpful.

My mom (78 and a light eater) asked if she could order off the child's menu at San Angel Inn and was told "no." CS is no problem, though.

I ordered off the children's menu in the food court at POFQ. It was the night before the half marathon and I had eaten a late lunch and wasn't really hungry. But I knew I had to eat something to be ready for next morning's race. The children's pasta portion was the perfect size. Plus, the meal included milk as the beverage and I saved that for the following morning for my cereal (which I brought from home).
