Can a "ticketless" package be changed if rates drop???

Hello everyone. If I were to book a ticketless package (already have tickets but want meal plan) and prices were to drop, would Disney honor the price drop? We are traveling next Nov. Not sure if we are renting points or getting two rooms at a moderate. Which moderates are generally included in discounts? Thanks, in advance

Yes, disney will allow you to adjust your reservation for new discounts that come out and I do it all the time. This may not be 100% true for dvc point rentals since I see your considering it, I have to defer that question to someone who is in dvc or has rented points in the past, I have not.

Discounts have all different restrictions and it's impossible to guess what might come out in the future and generally "which resort" really means 'which resort isn't sold out of this discount rate'. Keep in mind a discount is to try to get the place filled up so if there is a resort filled up without a discount, it'll probably not be part of it but that can change at any time and it's really annoying .

I realize that it won't affect a DVC point rental. I am really flexible about where we stay. We will be traveling with daughter, son in law, and two small grandchildren. They aren't really old enough to care too much about where we stay I already purchased tickets, thus the question regarding a ticketless package. So, if we are considering moderate, should we book something, or wait until discounts come out? We are traveling from the Sat after Thanksgiving for one week. Need to rooms. TIA.

I use a travel agent to book my packages. My agent has always been able to modify my price when a "deal" comes out. She does so automatically, I don't have to watch. It's nice!

The thing to keep in mind is that there are a limited number of rooms available with any given discount, so when you say "will Disney honor the discount?", they may not have any rooms available at your resort for your dates at the discounted rate, although if they have discounted rooms available for your dates at another resort, you can switch. If you're going to go whether you can get a discount or not, then definitely book as soon as you can both to make sure you have something, and also to give you more time to pay it off.
