Can a ticket be reassigned to someone else?

If accounts are linked, can a ticket be reassigned? My Mom is supposed to come with us in November, but if medical reasons prohibit her, can I reassign her ticket to someone else in the future?

If she has a Magic My Way ticket, meaning that it was part of a package, then she won't be able to reassign it until after the ticket becomes active on arrival day.
