Please don't flame me for asking, but I'm wondering if we can do this:

We're planning to go to Universal in December - me, DH, and 4 children. The 2 youngest won't be able to ride Forbidden Journey because of the height restriction. Will the older two be able to use the younger kids' room keys to ride it a second time via Express Pass?

TIA

The only thing that might hold you back is that the children's names and ages are written on the key. So the 16 year old boy may not be able to use the 2 year old girl's key. Not sure how closely they look at those things.

Since you have 6 people, you have 2 rooms. 2 adults and 3 children are allowed in each room. Or 1 adult and 4 children. Hmmm. ;)

That's what I was wondering too - 1 and 4 & 1 and 4.

There you go. Problem solved. The little ones might just need to be in one room. :thumbsup2

Just tell them that you would like keys for the older two children for both rooms. It should not be an issue and probably a good idea if they are going to be in both rooms.

If I am remembering correctly (we were in Universal last summer) the only thing on the room keys were the name of person that reservation is in. The room key is not actually your park pass so it wouldn't be person specific.

I am not sure about using someone's room key for FOTL but keep in mind according to the press release, the Forbidden Journey is an hour long experience. I guess for me the question would be are you ok with your two older kids taking that much time twice in one day...

If they use the express line, they miss much of the queue and the duration should be much shorter.

All room keys have individual names on them -- and for children it has an age. They ask you the names of the people in the room, and ages for children, when you check in and print out individual keys for each.
