I received a call from my father this morning. My Uncle Bill passed away last night after being on hospice care for the last 2 1/2 months. My parents had the privilege of being able to visit him one last time last weekend.

I am relieved that he's finally at rest and with my Auntie, but of course am sad at the same time.

As I have said before, to say that this has been a difficult year would be a gross understatement. However, my faith and the support of family and friends has been tremendous. As most of you know, I have also used the DIS to escape sometimes (maybe sometimes too much ). I also found great comfort not only planning for my upcoming trip, but also in the friendships I have developed online. So I do have to thank all of you for your over the last fews month. They have sustained me through this difficult time.


Thanks again for all your prayers and support.
