Can A Cool Touch Comfort Cushion go in checked luggage?

I have a Cool Touch Comfort Cushion and I would love to take it WDW but I am concerned because it has liguid/gel in it. It is not supposed to go below 45 degrees and is rather heavy. I ordered it from QVC. It is sort of like those cooling neckbands but it is a seat cushion and you do not have to wet it. You sit on it and it cools your whole body. It would be great for waiting for parades, shows, etc but I am concerned about taking it on a plane. Anybody know if this would be ok? Anybody have experience with this?

There are NO RESTRICTIONS on liquids/gels in checked luggage.

I also don't think you'd have any problem with having it in your checked luggage. Apparently the issue with having one of these things at temperatures below 45 degrees is that they freeze. You may need to thaw it once you get to your hotel (the company suggests placing frozen cushions in a hot car or porch until it re-liquifies. As far as the weight is concerned you'll just need to be sure you're not going over the airline's limit for packed luggage weight. You may need to re-distribute your things among your bags.
