Can a 2year old go on any rides?

Would anyone know if my 2 year old daughter can go on rides like "It's a Small World"... I would appriciate any info any one has from past experiences. Also, do you think it is better to rent a stroller or bring one? what is the price range to rent for the day? Thanks so much! This site is wonderful. I am officially sucked in! Love it!

Sure she can go on rides!! Small World, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, Dumbo, Cinderella's Carousel, Teacups, Buzz Lightyear, TTA, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Aladdin... all kinds of rides are suitable for little ones!

As far as the stroller issue, we're past our stroller years (tho' sometimes I'd love one for myself, LOL!!), but when we used one, we always brought a fold-up umbrella stroller from home. It was lightweight, easy to fold up, and we could take it with us everywhere, with no rental fee.

There are only a FEW rides she CAN'T go on (due to HEIGHT restrictions).

These would be the "Mountains" (Space, Splash, Big Thunder) and a few others that are more INTENSE-type attractions.

You should use your JUDGEMENT as to taking her into rides like Haunted Mansion, Snow White's Scary Adventure, etc. but she will not be EXCLUDED by Disney.

Don't remeber if STITCH has a height requirement, but it can be VERY frightening to young children.

She can go on any ride that u are allowed to hold her on...for instance things like Small World, Jungle cruise, Cinderella's Carouself, Dumbo...there are lots. Mostly she can't go on rides that lock u into a car and has height requirements.
As far as the stroller...u can rent them for $7-$14/day plus $1 deposit. Whether u rent or bring ur own is up to u and if u want to haul it in and out the park. Most ppl bring lite weight umbrella types. Myself...I'd want something she could sleep in...most 2 yr olds don't make the entire park without getting exhausted. JMHO

Plenty of rides for a 2 year old

As for the stroller - we always bring our own small umbrella stroller. If you do bring you own it's easy to gate check it at the airport. That way it's there and ready to go when you get off the plane

For us - we bring a Graco Umbroller - It's $25, lightweight, has a basket underneath and a canopy and reclines slightly. Very nice.

Sure! There are more things that your two year old can do, especially in MK, than not!!!

As far as the stroller, I would bring one from home. That way you have it for use outside of the parks as well.

We bought our Graco- not an umbrella. She was use to it and could sleep comfotably in it.

last May I took my 2 yr old and she enjoyed most of the rides. We bought an umbrella stroller from Target for $30 -- it was great !!! It had a canapy that shaded her, reclined so she could sleep, and had a huge basket underneath that let us tote the diaper bag, juice, and snacks. The added benefit of taking your own stoller is that you can push them right up to the monorail and buses -- and they can still nap while you wait -- it saves your energy by toting them less. Also when you ride the monorail you don't have to fold up the stoller -- you just push them right on! I also bought the UV shade net to go over the stoller for $12 -- it was wonderful!

We took our GS to WDW in December 2004 when he was just over 3 years old. We did bring an Umbroller type stroller for use in the airports but we left it in the room once we got to WDW. We rented the park strollers while we were there. We even started renting the double stroller after the first day to have the extra room for all the stuff we were lugging around for him.

P.S. We have vowed to never take him back to WDW without his parents again. I managed to turn him into a 3 foot tall Disney fanatic who has convinced his parents that we all need to go to WDW this May.

Thank you so much for the replies! I am soo excited to take her in September. Oh yeah, one more question.. If she is in a stroller in the line to the ride..is there a place to leave it while on the ride. I think her gm and me will go on the ride also.

All of the attractions have stroller parking. Although sometimes the strollers get rearranged to clear space so don't be alarmed if it's not where you put it. If you decide to rent, remember to bring something to make yours unique. We prefer to bring our own for when we are visiting DD and the resorts. It helps in getting from the car to the main entrance as well.

Must see Attractions for 2 year olds:

MK- Carousel, Dumbo, IASW, Peter Pan, TTA, Buzz, JC, Magic Carpet (Pirates & Snow White can be scary for little kids)

Epcot- Journey into Imagination, Turtle Talk with Crush

MGM- Playhouse Disney

AK- Kilmanjaro, Rafiki's Planet Watch

DD (now 4) was born into it and had no real choice. At two she loved HM, PoC, PP, JC, Pooh, Dumbo and even SW (scary) at MK. SE, Mexico, Imagination and even Ellen at Epcot. And Safari at DAK. Her favorite ride is HM.

She's not an ordinary kid though. That's why we love her.

OMG! Ther are SO many rides a 2 year old can go on!! They can go on everything that does not have a height restriction! My DS when at 9 months, 21 months & again will go at 31 months. He goes on SO many rides each time & loves it!

We bring our stroller from home though. DS rarly uses it anymore, but we need it at WDW. It is a lightweight Graco one, that has a sunshade, reclines (for a quick nap) & has a basket underneath (for all out crap). It works really well. And it only cost like $40, so it has more then paid for itself.
