I am guessing yes since MS did just that today. OMG this is what happened. I am booked in a dedicated 2 br. at SSR for 6 of our 7 nights in Nov. I called today to see if the last night had come through on our waitlist and she said no. SO I had decided that if they had a 2 br. lockoff at SSR we would rather move within SSR our last night than to move over to OKW. Well she had it....so she cancelled my lockoff at OKW and when she went to get the one at SSR it was gone. UGH SO I asked her if the OKW was there still and she said not it was gone too. So she put me on hold and came back with nothing. SO she said she had a 1 br at SSR if I wanted that. SO I said yes. Well we are a family of 5 which she knew already from our ressie. So I am guessing that this is legally doable. We can bring our air matress I guess for one night.

SO let this be a lesson learned. Sometimes it just pays to have a split stay. UGH

You might want to check with MS again...the max. occup. for the 1 bedroom is 4 pp at SSR. The MS might have forgotten that you had 5 people. Also, if you do put 5 in the one bedroom...you risk being kicked out and you cannot get dining plan for all 5 of you.

Seems like somewhere on here there was a thread with that information about occupancy. UGH We are not on the dining plan. I hope that one of the two bedrooms opens up. I might see if I can book something at a regular Dis resort as back up.

Before this thread gets closed....yes. We've always booked 5 in a 1 b/r through MS, no problem. They remind you no extra bedding or linens though.

Occupany is a hot topic on the DVC Boards. All occupancy discussion is limitied to this thread: DVC Occupancy Thread. You may continue the discussion there if you wish.
