Can #2 person on reservation check in without #1 person?

I can't find the answer for this anywhere! My sister is the primary on the reservation, and her plane is arriving 2 hours or so after mine, assuming either arrives on time! So I'll be at the resort before she will be. Will I be able to go to the front desk and check in without her there?

We usually don't do online check-in and won't consider doing it unless it's the only way that I can get into the room before she arrives.

And, yes, my name is on the reservation.

Any adult on the reservation can check-in it doesn't have to be the primary guest of the reservation.

If you do online check in you could end up getting your room number texted to you before you get there and then no one has to go to the front desk
