Can 1 person Rent 2 Cars for same date

I am going with a family of 10 and wanted to rent a large Van but seems to be more difficult than I thought it would be so I have decided to rent 2 cars...
Will I be able to rent 2 cars in my name and pay for them both Or will another Family Memeber need to rent one and pay for it separate???
Just trying to get everything plan as easily and and painless as possible.

You can do that, but, you have to pick them both up. Since you probably cannot drive both, you will have to pay for an additional driver unless it is included with a coupon ie: BJ's code and coupon allow for a free extra driver at Alamo.

Yes, you have to pay for membership, but, those coupons and codes do not require a member number to access them, quite unlike Sam's club. Yes, BJ's is like Sam's club.

I booked 2 cars for next month, since I could not get a good minivan rate for our exact dates. With 7, a minivan was going to be tight anyway! This way we can split up with ease, etc.

I have 2 EMerald Aisle reservations. And I called my car insurance company, they said it was fine, because the 2 drivers are me and my husband, who are both on my policy, of course. With Emerald Aisle , spouses drive free.

We are looking forward to the fun of choosing 2 cars off the Emerald Aisle, or the intermediate aisle.

Not sure if you know this, but, the person who's name is on the rental has to pick it up and check it out. so, if they are both in your name, you will have to do the checking out, after that, no problems.

Do you HAVE to be a member to use the codes for BJ's?
They have all the codes listed , just wondering if you have to show proof when you rent the car. Or can you use the codes without being a member.
I have a Sam's close by but No BJ's.

They have never asked for my membership card, which I do carry with me. Since they are available to the general public I would think they are available to all. In fact you can just walk into any BJ's and pick up one of their books, they don't ID you when you walk in only when you buy something. different from Sam's.
