Can’t locate beer card

On our cruise last month, I handed the bartender my 2016 glass mug. No worries. Neither the cards nor the mugs have changed.

If they were to charge me for the beer mug when I bring back my card from a previous cruise, would they let me take two mugs home after the cruise? My original purchase allowed me to take a mug home, so it seems like I would not have received that mug I paid for on the first cruise.

You chose not to take the mug and chose to take the souvenir token/card instead. That's on you. They would owe you nothing.

But I take the card home with the understanding that is usable on a future cruise. Much easier to carry the card, rather than trying to pack a breakable mug. I have been on 19 cruises now, and never had an issue with using an old card. It's not like you get free refills.

If they were to change the policy (and make it known that it was changed) then I would opt to take the mug home and buy a new mug on a future cruise.
