Can’t Book Park Reservations

We have a Disney package and I need to switch around our starting parks. I cancelled the first day but when I go to rebook and click make a park reservation it tells me the page isn’t working. Agh. It’s been this way from last night. I guess it’s good that our days are in Aug and nothing is fully booked but it makes me uneasy that I have no reservation for our first day in the park. I’ve tried on my laptop and my phone and it’s a no go.

of course you can’t call because you get the message we are too busy and hang up on you.

Not sure if calling the reservation # will help.

Are you doing this on a phone or computer? If it's computer, try clearing your browser cache or open an incognito/private page. I know for me, I've been having some random problems like yours on Disney and non-Disney websites, and when I open an incognito page it works just fine.

I had the same problem the last couple of days. I got around it by switching to Microsoft Edge instead of Google Chrome like I normally use. When I did that it worked the 2nd time.

Thank you! I tried both incognito on my laptop and phone. It worked on my phone. Phew.

Another question. My reservations say “all day” but then there is a disclaimer that if you have park hoppers you can hop after 1pm. When the calendar comes up I’m not given the choice for multi day tickets like I see under the normal park reservations. There are 2 calendars. I don’t want to be stuck at 1 park with park hoppers.

I have yet to be at the parks under the new reservation system, but my understanding is you do not "reserve" your park hop for 1 pm ahead of time. You just do it. There is a disclaimer that basically says "if attendance allows, you can park hop to the other park at 1pm." So far, I have not heard any stories of guest NOT being allowed to park hop after 1pm.

That is my understanding. It is the same way at WDW right now. The only difference is that we weren't able to go to the 2nd park until 2 pm when my daughter and I were there in April. I like the 1:00 at DL/DCA better. Gives more time and greater flexibility.

Thanks. That’s what I thought but when you go to book reservations for tickets without a package you have a choice of calendars. One is single day and the other is park hopper. I hope the system is smart enough that if you purchased a park hopper it would book you on the correct calendar. DD is having a friend join us so she just booked tickets and booked reservations that matched ours.

This morning I changed my reservations for one of our park days and it was working fine. I was disconcerted at the "all day" language they use, but if you look closely, it has a statement that if you have a hopper, you are only choosing your starting park and can hop after 1:00.
