I've noticed such things as the POP refer swaps and ADR swaps. Does anyone know if you can do something similar with FW campsite ressies. IOW can you assign your campsite ressie to another person and then they can incorporate it into their plans to fill in say missing dates, etc. We are in this situation this year since we planned to be at FW from 12/16 to 1/25/2008 and have got all the dates except for 12/29, 30 and 31 and instead of moving to the Kissimmee KOA for those three days would rather stay at FW.

Nope, Disney will not allow you to transfer/assign a reservation to someone else.

If they did there would quickly become a "black market" of reservations. People would book popular dates, then e-bay them to the highest bidder.

We've tried to pick up days from friends who had to leave early, and, sorry... not allowed.:sad2:

We have never been given a satisfactory reason why this can't be done, either :confused3 .

We are told that once someone checks out of the site early, the info automatically pops back into the system for someone else to get. I say, they should be able to pull up the original ressie & change the registration information - but they won't do it. (Now, we all know it can be done - Disney just chooses not to.):snooty:

When people swap the fridges, didn't someone buy it and then it just kind of circulates?

So, your post title had me picturing a tent, 2 sleeping bags, a cooler and 2 bag chairs being passed from one airplane-using couple to the next. :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

That's not what I meant, but in hindsight I admit it was poorly worded.

I'm no expert in the refer swaps, but I think some initial group chips in and one person buys it and after that group uses it other sign up for it and it's free. I guess my example should have been more along the ADR swaps and after the first answer here, I went back and looked at the ressies and it clearly says they are non transferable so if I would have read the ressie more closely I wouldn't have even asked this now dumb question. :lmao: :thumbsup2
