We have a 40 ft. motorcoach with slideouts. Are the preferred sites large enough to accomodate an additional vehicle and room for children to play?JCA1970 Thank you in advance for your response :sunny:

We just got back last night from our first trip. We have a 30 ft. travel trailer but saw many large motor homes there. All the sites were large enough to fit the unit with one extra vehicle in front. Most of the time, the vehicle would have to be parked parallel to the road, but with plenty of room. Just make sure they know what you're bringing when you book the spot. As for room to play, we had a cleared out loamy sand area behind the unit. The kids for the most part played in the road. All the sites are on loops so there is minimal traffic at only about 5 mph on the loops, 20 mph on the roads. Hope you have as much fun as we did. :teeth:

The preferred sites are smaller then the non-preferred sites. We usually stay in the 1600-1900 loops because the sites are much larger. That being said Disney will make sure that they put you in a site that will fit your rig.

Thank you, that's good to know. We can't wait. We are going in March. We wanted to know about the car because my father in law stays not far away in FL for the winter and we are hoping he can come visit us. JCA1970

Interesting. Well I guess we'll take what we get. We were lucky to get a site, the first time we called they were booked. We will have fun no matter what we end up with, we were just curious and trying to plan things, Thanks JCA1970

I found this site awhile ago. Not all camping sites are listed but there are quite a few with the size of the pad.

Hope you have an excellent trip - please let us know how it turns out.

Our family is camping there in Dec. We have a 34' FW w/ 2 slides and have asked for loop 3. We'd like to get a water view so if you get a chance to go on loop 3 at all and can give us any suggestions, we'd much appreciate it!

Have fun!! :sunny:

We'll see what we can do. We are suppose to be in one of the prefferred sites Near most of the action. I ,also, have heard the 300 loop is one of the best. JCA1970 :) :)

Well the last two times we went they had to move us... we got to the site they originally gave us and it was not wide enough for a slide... The were really nice about moving us... but it is best to get there early so they have sites avaiable to move you... just odd to have a 40ft camper in a space and next door to you have a pop up camper that has a bigger space than you... that is what happened last time so they just switched us. which was so very nice of them...so now this time when I made ressies I was very specific.. I do not want a tree in the sand in the back because we also have a tent for my dauthers fiance' and friend... slide an awning and I also added a extra 2 ft to the size of my camper hoping that would help the situation... but I am not worried they have always gave us a spot that works...
Like I said be one of the first ones there so they have time to switch you if they need to...

Looking forward to meetin gyou we will be ther in March too...
