Camping Questions

To all;
We are arriving at FW on March 29th, from Winnipeg, Canada where it is currently 20 below. Anyways, we have stayed at FW cabins in #2528 for four consecutive years, this year we have decided to bring a 32' RV and camp, there has been questioned hurled around with no answers as we have never, other than passed through in a golf cart, been in the camping area. So I will just list and if someone could answer when the chance arrives. We are traveling with myself, wife, 2- 15 year olds, 1 - 13 year old, and 1 - 11 year old, all girls, hope this provides some insite as to some of the rediculous questions

- Is there towels for showers offered in the comfort stations? As towels were always supplied in the cabins.

- Kids worried about the privacy in the comfort station showers

- do most hang out clothes lines to dry swimming towels?

- we had planned on going shopping!! (surprise anybody!!) this will be the first year I do not have a vehicle there to get around. the price on renting vehicles seems to be expensive so, we were planning on just takin the RV away for a day does anyone see a problem with this plan?

- We have boooked a premium site I believe in 1200 loop, we wanted to put up a tent in order to give the teenagers a place to get ready as they would tie up the RV bathroom for hours (as at home). is there going to be room?

Any help anyone can give us I would greatly appreciate it

No towels at Comfort Station, should be room for a tent, privacy is ok, as we always use them instead of 5th wheel. You will have a fun time, also you can hang out towels but I think the pool is closed now for renovations.

Bring lots of towels....you'll need both beach towels for the pool (meadow pool is currently closed---WL pool is open for FW guests at this time) and bath towels for showers.

Plenty of privacy in the comfort stations. Enclosed shower stalls have an attached dressing area.

You'll see plenty of towels and even occasionally entire laundry hung out to dry.

On past trips when we had a MH we'd leave in it to shop--never any problems!

Most premium sites have little or no "sand" area to pitch a tent. You should let Disney know you are planning to bring a tent and hopefully they can select a site that this will be possible.

Since most of your ?'s have been answered i only have one thing to add there is a company i believe it's called green grocery or something like that they will deliver things for you this maybe a option for you that way you don't have to take apart your camper for a day trip out just for food i'm sure if you look back on this thread you will find it or someone else will have the answer but i will say bring towels,privacy in bathrooms is good ,pool maybe a problem as mentioned it is being rehabed right now but there is still the one by the cabins also have a great trip and hope this helped a little
