Hi! Just we are leaving for Fort Wilderness on Friday and will be travelling down I75 (across Bluewater Bridge, down 94 to I75). I was wondering if anyone had any campground recommendations along I75. I was expecting we would get to Kentucky the first night and probably south Georgia to upper Florida the next? I have looked at KOA's with some mixed reviews. They seem to be about $20 more than private campgrounds. I'm looking for a full hookup deal just because I expect that would be much easier that filling up with water and pumping out etc. I found a place in south Georgia (near Valdosta?) called Eagles Roost that sounded ok. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!:flower3:

I cannot give too big a recommendation to the I-75 book written by Dave Hunter -- hubby and I usually drive down I-75 and we simply would NOT leave home without it! And everyone who sees our copy always wants one too :)

You can get it at Chapters etc, but here is the link to the web site:

I'm sure you can find one before you leave; you won't regret buying it!

This book is amazing -- it tells you what is at each and every exit all the way from Windsor right down to the Florida border! The restaurants, the gas stations, etc. And you get all sorts of great tips about places you never would have known about. I discovered one of my favourite places to eat in all of the U.S. out of this book -- the Country Grill in Dry Ridge KY. Love their homemade food!!!

Anyway, the book should be a must for your trip; it'll really help you out :)
