Just wondering what events they have at the campground over easter. I'm not even sure if they do anything special in the parks?

It's a great day at the campground. Last year, there was a candy "hunt" for ages up to 15ish with groups divided by age. Then, a scavenger hunt and other crafts. We took the boat over to the contemporary emwhere the kids got more candy, took a picture with the Easter bunny, and we attended mass in the convention hall. We had such a good time.

Let me see if i can find last years schedule.

We did the past 2 Easter's at the Fort and we really enjoyed it, though we went to the Contemporary for activities and brunch @ Chef Mickey's before going to Epcot to do an Easter Egg hunt. The Contemporary had some great activities, plus several characters for photo ops.

I was wondering if it's worth a park day. Do they only do the egg hunt on Easter in epcot?

There's a free egg hunt in the World Showcase at the UK pavilion that you sign up for (the eggs were limited to 10/child and they were filled with Oriental Trading Company toys/crafts, no candy) -- this is ONLY on Easter Sunday. We had to wait about 2 hours from when we signed up until the kids could actually do the hunt. Epcot also a scavenger hunt you can pay to play ($6) where you find eggs throughout the World Showcase (and last year I think you could do it at Disney Springs, too) and at the end you turn your map in for a prize (usually an empty Disney character Easter egg). This is usually available for the 3-4 week preceding Easter.

We had APs so I don't feel like we "wasted" a day going to Epcot for a few hours, but there are so many activities at the resorts that I probably wouldn't use a park day if I had a limited ticket. On Easter we do brunch and a nice TS dinner, too, so that takes time away from being in the parks.
