Camping Dec. 2008 Please help

Has anyone been able to book anything for Dec. 13, 14 2008. I called yesterday at 7:00 am nothing available for the 13 th, same when I called today to for the 14 th. Disney says it could be booked or not released because of 2008 rates not released yet.Disney also can't tell if sites are all booked or ????Also can you call earlier than 7:00 am est time.Does anyone have a suggestion even if I have to go in a couple of days after would be fine.

They will only book rooms (or campsites) 500 days out. I believe that brings us to December 15 today. So, maybe if you try again today it will show up!

i was told by them it was 450 days out when I tried calling thursday about Thanksgiving 08. I did a date calculator tonight and I am currently at 473 days til then. You can bet I will be calling in 23 days.

And they told me the same thing about the dates not being released, etc.

i would not wait like disney told you, call back every day.i'm speaking of experience on this, missed my dates completely last year i wanted.jmop. i would keep trying everyday.

For some seemingly unexplainable reason Dec. campsites are rarely put into the system at 500 days out. Have patience and just keep trying. The sites are not all booked yet. What I have done in the past is just call every morning and check to see if they are available. Last Aug/Sept. when I was booking my Dec. 07 trip I called so many times I was able to recognize many of the cm's I talked to and they remembered me! Good Luck, I'm sure you'll get your dates eventually.

Try asking for just one date first, the day you plan to arrive. Then ask if they can add to it. The computer seems to say that the dates you want are not available if just one of the dates you ask for is not available.

They are currently booking 12/16 today... so I would be calling ... and on top of that expect a long wait because of the packages droping today.
