Camping at the movie theater

I have the original three movies on dvd to watch this weekend with DD before going to see the new one. Got to prepare her properly...

Doing the same thing, we have all 6 Dvds here on the boat. I watching all of them so I can be in the loop for when I go see the movie!

I only had my oldest DD watch the original 3, though I did watch all 6 before going. I didn't want to expose her to the awful prequels just yet. She loved the new one, even at the age of 10, and a girl who is mainly a Disney princess fan.

We are doing the same watching them all. We started with Episode 1 (blah) on Saturday night. Watching one each night. This way we can go see Episode 7 on Christmas.

I have all of the first 6 movies at home too, but I only have episodes 4, 5, and 6 on VHS. I do, however, still have a VHS player.

Anyway, I (personally) think they need to be watched in order in which they were released. (IV, V, VI, I, II, III).

Oh boy, everybody realize that probably one of the new "knock down drag out" threads might be how to watch the Star Wars movies? Kinda like a pool hopping or pets at the campsite thread.

People will be insulting one another left and right about which order to watch them in. :jester:

We are doing pre quel first only because they were not as good as the originals. Plus I know the originals so much better, so I had no issue with watching pre quel first. Yes tiggerdad it is an epic discussion. I am letting my friend borrow them once I am done. He has not seen any. Bert and I were discussing what order to watch them in. We think machete order(4,5,1,2,3,6) if you have not seen any of the movies.

No "Knock down Drag out".....

There is only ONE way to watch them. :)

(just kidding of course, please no one beat me up!)

Well we saw the movie early this afternoon and I liked it.

However I felt the more things change the more they stay the same. But in a good way. popcorn::

We saw it this afternoon too. Theater was crowded but we had good seats. We both really enjoyed it. Glad I did the Star Wars marathon a head of time.
