We are heading to Orlando next week :cool1:, but trying to make it a Disney park free vacay since we will be back in August. However, we thought it would be fun to take the kiddos to the campfire at FW. Is that kosher, or is it frowned upon for non resort guests to go to the campfire? I don't want to break any etiquette rules. Just looking to get my Disney fix on a non Disney vacation.

It's open to all guests. I've been going since I was a kid and still enjoy it. I would think this would be a great non-park activity for your family. There are also other things to do in Ft. Wilderness. There is a petting zoo, hayrides, horseback riding, etc. I always say I could have a great vacation and never leave the campground!! Have fun!
